United for Peace Rally

Join us to promote unity and peace amongst all groups in our community and across the world. Hear from elected officials why this grassroots movement is so important, especially in wake of the recent extremist attack in New Zealand killing 49 people and injuring many others. Also hear from leaders of Indian and Pakistani communities why they stand united for peace and resolution of Indo-Pak conflict through diplomacy.

United for Peace believes that hatred can never help spread peace the way darkness can never help spread light.

United for Peace is overwhelmed with the outpouring of support to our cause of peace and unity in our community and across the world. Thanks to Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico, State Rep Karina Villa, State Senator Laura Ellman, Dupage County Board Member Sadia Covert, Will County Board member Mimi Cowan, Congressman Bill Foster’s office, past President Congregation of Beth Shalom -Bernie Newman, for attending and promise of continued support. Great turnout from all segments of the community – Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jews among others. We have taken the first step, now we have a long journey together –

“Imagine all the people

Living life in Peace

You may say I’m a dreamer

But I’m not the only one

I hope some day you’ll join us

And the world will as one”

~John Lennon
